After retiring, Josef finally pursues his dream of becoming a street clown, charming Maruška, the owner of a mobile cafe, and sparking a late-in-life romance. His daughter Anička and grandson Honzík unexpectedly move in with him, while Anička reconnects with an old flame, Pavel. Young Honzík navigates the confusing feelings of first love, seeking guidance from his mother, grandfather, and uncle, and finds himself drawn to his kindergarten teacher, Eliška. Adding to the heartwarming connections, the families' dogs, Váleček and Šalina, become fast friends.
