At night the masked Phantom haunts a graveyard, then enters opera and falls for Kitty, jealous feline singer. He deflates the husky‑voiced hippo star and hides a phonograph under Kitty’s skirt so she can claim the voice. The flawed record makes her a hit, yet she abandons the Phantom for Oswald the Rabbit, who rescues her from catacombs.
