A spoof of spy movies follows translator Alan and his kindergarten‑teacher wife Beverly as they get caught up in a plot to stop a presidential assassination. They are aided by a quirky federal agent resembling Alan’s college buddy Freddie. Before Freddie can expose the real killer who uses kitchen tools, Alan and Beverly must weed out suspects.
