During his first satellite broadcast, Reverend Jonah Johnson pretends to heal a man in a wheelchair. An IRS agent watches the scene with skepticism. A redneck father disrupts the live feed, claiming to be the father of his daughter’s unborn child. Johnson flees the chaos, pursued by the actor who played the fake paraplegic, and a local officer briefly arrests him before letting him go.

Johnson and Isabelle escape to Los Angeles and discover a derelict, boarded-up house. They decide to rebuild their phony church inside it, turning the ruin into a new base of operations. The couple begins to lay the groundwork for their deceptive ministry as the city carries on unaware.

On their first night, the house appears haunted by a possessed toilet that spits smoke and a gang of punkers hiding drugs inside. A police officer named Steve Seligman intervenes and scares the intruders away. The couple senses a malevolent presence taking root in their new home.

Jonah refuses to sacrifice Eve; the Devil materializes behind him, and Jonah impales both himself and the Devil with a sword. A fire erupts, Seligman saves Eve with the shofar, and the house burns as demons drag Isabelle and Mort to Hell. The bizarre plumbing series continues with a third plumber arriving to repair the cursed toilet.
