In 1993, Michael Jordan decides to retire from basketball to pursue a career in professional baseball. However, he quickly realizes that baseball does not fulfill his passion as basketball once did.

In outer space, Mr. Smackhammer, ruler of Moron Mountain Theme Park, plots to boost attendance by capturing the Looney Toons. He sends his minions, the Nerdlucks, to the 2D world beneath Earth to execute this scheme.

The Nerdlucks land in the cartoon universe, interrupting a chase between Bugs Bunny and Elmer J. Fudd. This leads to a chaotic meeting where Bugs learns of their plan to enslave the Toons.

Bugs Bunny proposes a basketball game against the Nerdlucks to save the Toons, understanding their gaming capabilities are limited. The Nerdlucks, however, hatch a plan to steal the skills of NBA stars.

The Nerdlucks infiltrate the NBA and steal the talents of famous players like Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing. This transformation into the Monstars sets the stage for an epic showdown.

Michael Jordan meets Stanley 'Stan' Podolack, a clumsy publicist who aims to support him. Their friendship develops as they bond over golf alongside celebrities Bill Murray and Larry Bird.

Bugs Bunny uses his magical powers to reach out to Michael, revealing the dire situation with the Monstars. Initially hesitant, Michael realizes the importance of stepping back onto the basketball court.

As Michael joins the Looney Toons, he meets Lola Bunny, a skilled basketball player. Their chemistry grows as they prepare for the challenging basketball match against the Monstars.

Bugs and Daffy Duck sneak into Michael's home to gather his basketball gear. They narrowly escape from Michael's bulldog, Charlie, with the help of Michael's kids, adding comedic tension to their mission.

The basketball game at Toon Stadium Arena kicks off with the Monstars initially leading. However, with the support of 'The Secret Stuff,' which is just water, the Looney Toons rally back under Michael's leadership.

As the game progresses, Michael faces pressure as their fate hangs in the balance. The chance of losing sends him back to Moron Mountain, increasing the stakes for the Toons and their future.

After an intense battle and several injuries, Michael scores the final shot, leading the Toons to victory. The Monstars, defeated, send Mr. Smackhammer flying into the moon, resolving the conflict.

Michael Jordan triumphantly returns to baseball after securing the Toons' freedom. His victory in the animated world reaffirms his place as a sports legend.

As the story closes, Bugs Bunny shares a kiss with Lola Bunny, hinting at blossoming romance amidst the chaos. The film ends with Michael rejoining the NBA, celebrating the blend of animation and sports.
