Cassie and Sean, along with her ex-boyfriend Matt and their friend Annabel, choose to visit a nightclub situated in an old church. This decision starkly contrasts with Cassie's religious beliefs, setting the stage for the ensuing drama.

Despite her fears, Cassie convinces Matt to take her home. Instead, he drives her back to the club, where confusion escalates as she finds Annabel with a new boyfriend, Raven, who ominously warns her of impending danger.

In a moment of frustration fueled by alcohol, Matt demands another goodbye kiss from Cassie. Reacting impulsively, she strikes him with a bottle and leaves him behind, compounding the chaos of her night.
