Following a period of humbling as a serf, Grigory, the son of an oligarch, is now fully rehabilitated and possesses a newfound sense of moral justice. He finds himself increasingly disapproving of the behavior of Katya, a young and privileged socialite. To teach her a lesson about humility and respect, Grigory uses his abilities to send Katya back in time, forcing her to confront a life far removed from her own.
