Mahsun Supertitiz, an unemployed homeless man, spends his nights stealing cars so he can find a warm place to sleep during the winter. He lives in Rumelihisar, the historic waterfront district of Istanbul, and relies on local fishermen for support. While he takes the vehicles, Mahsun carefully cleans, polishes and then drives them through Rumelihisar’s streets by day, turning his thefts into a personal ritual of pride.
