Manager Blom and his family stay at a mountain hotel, where the relatives behave insolently and cruelly toward guests and staff. When the hotel manager tries to evict them, Blom buys the property. The staff all quit, and a telegram informs the family that they are bankrupt. To recover, the family takes over the hotel and begins running it themselves.
