This documentary explores the fascinating story of Snapper, an unrealized horror film project from the early 1990s. The film would have depicted a man-eating turtle terrorizing a lakeside community in New England. Through unearthed behind-the-scenes footage, photographs, and interviews with the filmmakers, the documentary reveals the creative process and challenges faced during the project's development. It also offers a glimpse into the special effects and horror communities in the Boston area during the 1980s and 1990s, showcasing an idea that never quite made it to the big screen.
