A large group of people are dancing to electronic music at a lively rave in southern Morocco, enjoying the free-spirited atmosphere. During the event, a man and his son hand out flyers with a missing woman's picture, hoping to find their daughter and sister, Mar. Tension develops as they seek clues about her whereabouts among the attendees.

A subgroup of ravers tells Luis and Esteban about an upcoming rave deeper in the desert, suggesting that the missing woman might be there. They learn that the desert rave might hold the answers they are looking for. The group discusses the possibility of further searching for Mar in this more remote location.

Military soldiers arrive and dissolve the rave, ordering the Europeans there to evacuate immediately. The scene turns chaotic as the ravers attempt to escape the military crackdown. Luis and Esteban, along with others, flee in two vans, while the soldiers form lines to control the crowd.

Luis and Esteban follow the ravers in a smaller van, along with their dog Pipa. The group manages to escape the initial chaos and head south toward an area near Mauritania. Along the way, they share supplies, stories, and moments of bonding amid the uncertain situation.

While traveling, radio broadcasts announce the outbreak of armed conflict between countries and the start of World War III. The news heightens the group's sense of desperation and urgency as they realize they are caught in a rapidly deteriorating world situation.

The group attempts to cross a river in their vehicles, confronting natural obstacles in their journey. The crossing is tense and challenging, testing their resilience and teamwork as they push forward into the unknown wilderness.

While waiting behind in Luis's van, Esteban and their dog Pipa fall off a cliff during the crossing, resulting in their deaths. This tragic event marks a turning point, emphasizing the dangers and losses faced by the group on their journey.

After losing Esteban and Pipa, Luis is left alone in the desert but is rescued by Jade and Stef. They attempt to lift his spirits by improvising a rave using psychoactive drugs and loud music, hoping to find some solace amid chaos.

During the desert rave, Jade unknowingly steps on a land mine and is killed instantly. Moments later, Tonin also steps on a mine while approaching Jade and dies as well. Their deaths highlight the ongoing danger of the minefield the group has entered.

The remaining members realize they must reach a safer, rocky zone free of mines. They attempt to clear a path using vans without drivers, but both vehicles explode upon stepping on mines, illustrating the peril of their environment.

Luis successfully walks in a straight line into the rocky, presumably mine-free area, surviving where others have perished. His act of bravery marks a significant achievement amidst the treacherous landscape but comes at a great personal cost.

One by one, Bigui, Stef, and Josh follow Luis into the rocky zone, despite the deadly environment, defying the perilous conditions. Their perseverance ends with each of them reaching the safe zone, although at the expense of their lives.

The survivors are seen crossing the vast desert on the rooftop of a train, with others accompanying them. This scene symbolizes their escape from the deadly terrain and their ongoing quest for safety amid a world torn apart by war.
