In the picturesque Scottish Highlands, veterinarian Sir William 'Billi' Sedgewick enjoys a tranquil existence alongside his quirky friend, Gordon the goat. Their days are filled with laughter and companionship, embodying a lifestyle in tune with nature's rhythms.

A stringent order from the Scottish government bans beavers, thus mandating their relocation to Norway. This decision threatens the harmony of Billi’s life and sets the stage for unforeseen chaos.

During a beaver transport operation, disaster strikes when a truck carrying the furry creatures meets with an accident. Some beavers escape into the wild, triggering a frantic effort by McKenzie and McTavish to recapture them.

Among the escaped beavers, a spirited one named Bessie Boo finds safety with a family of rabbits. As she adjusts to her new life, her adventurous spirit shines through, bringing joy to her new family.
