In a neon‑lit future Tokyo, policewomen battle a monster. Katsumi Liqueur, an American‑born Japanese woman, comes to see her sick mother in the hospital. After her taxi stalls, she cuts through an alley and encounters the fight. Chief Rally Cheyenne, who seems to have expected her, recruits Katsumi, but she, doubtful of magic, hesitates.
