Momokichi Momoi, Shozo Iizuka, is the ruthless owner of the Peach Twisters, a professional baseball team that doubles as his empire. He runs a brutal system where underperforming players are eliminated, a method that casts a long shadow over the city and everyone around him. His daughter, Momomi Momoi, Rie Ishizuka, shares and sharpens that cruelty, making her a dangerous and unpredictable figure in her own right.
Against this backdrop, Mikura Suzuki, Tomoko Kotani, Kenichi Kurokawa, Taichiro Hirokawa, and Tomohisa Harada, Takumi Yamazaki, work as the Danger Service Agency (DSA). They are hired by a mysterious client to kidnap Momokichi, pulling them into a web of loyalties and lies that threaten to engulf them.
The DSA’s plan unfolds during a bowling match, but the operation is interrupted by Momokichi and his guards. The attempted abduction fails; Momokichi is killed in the chaos, and the DSA realizes the stakes are higher than they believed. Mikura seems to recognize both Momokichi and Momomi, and Momomi appears to recognize Mikura, hinting at a concealed past that complicates every decision ahead.
While Mikura sleeps, she dreams of a confession from Kenichi, a moment that seems to echo something real: Kenichi’s feelings for Mikura. The dream bleeds into waking life, and Mikura and Kenichi begin a tense romance. The situation grows darker when Tomohisa arrives and, with Kenichi’s consent, a brutal assault ensues that Mikura did not want, illustrating the dangerous power dynamics at play within the DSA and their client.
Furious, Momomi orders a citywide manhunt. Meanwhile, the DSA hide Momokichi’s body and press their client for secrets about his true identity. The client reveals that he used to be a hitman under Momokichi. He explains that his plan was to use Momokichi as insurance to flee the country, but with Momokichi dead, the safest option is to take down Momomi itself. That revelation sets the stage for a final, dangerous confrontation.
They stage a fake hostage exchange using a robot double of Momokichi to lure Momomi out. The plan devolves into mutual betrayal and gunfire. The real Mikura ambushes Momomi and kills her, a devastating turn that shifts the power balance. The client reveals that he is Hiroka, Momokichi and Momomi’s head of security, Norio Wakamoto. He admits he manipulated the DSA to topple the Momoi family so he could seize their empire.
With Hiroka dead and the double destroyed, the DSA escapes and begins rebuilding the damage left by the Momoi gang. Mikura experiences a looming premonition about their next assignment, suggesting that the agency is ready to take on another dangerous job, whatever it may be, as they navigate a world of shifting loyalties and brutal power struggles.
