Following his dominant wife’s abrupt departure, the timid and unassuming literary teacher Hayati finds himself embroiled in a shocking mystery. When an unidentified woman’s body is discovered near the lake in his conservative town, Hayati unexpectedly offers to take the blame for the murder, claiming the victim was his wife. He insists on shouldering the guilt for a crime he did not commit, leaving everyone to question his motives and the truth behind this unusual situation.
