A group of drop‑outs, losers and petty criminals drift in a stolen Mercedes through ruined houses and blocked roads, ending at a decaying state farm on the Crimean peninsula, the southern tip of the former Soviet Union, where the mother, wife and daughter of one of them live. They pass the time smoking, drinking and staring, while tension quietly builds. On the final night they throw a chaotic, self‑destructive party that mirrors their bleak lives.
