Seoul Station is Seoul's central transit hub, featuring crowded platforms, corridors, and tunnels. Suk-gyu is a controlling, violent pimp who tracks Hye-sun to reclaim money and power. He exerts brutal pressure and is willing to kill or threaten others to achieve his aims. His pursuit of Hye-sun becomes a central conflict, culminating in a brutal confrontation as the city collapses around him.

Hye-sun is a survivor who fled a life in a brothel and now fights to stay alive amid the chaos. She forms fragile bonds with other survivors but ultimately faces danger from Suk-gyu. She becomes infected and reanimates, contributing to the spread of the outbreak.

Ki-woong is Hye-sun's boyfriend who initially hopes to profit from her by pushing her back into a life of exploitation. As the city erupts into chaos, he drifts between self-preservation and moments of caring for others, though his ultimate fate is tragic.
