Nia, Jasmine Mathews, a civilian woman, steps away from a party and discovers a carcass bobbing on the water’s surface, a stark reminder of the war’s reach. The following day, the journey continues with a small group: Dawn, Sheila McCarthy, and Ray, Anthony Grant, who join Nia as they head toward an abandoned town.
