Driven by a desire to create a safer environment for her daughter, Regina becomes a police officer in Dallas. As a rookie, she and her partner Eddie uncover the first victim in a series of murders targeting female prostitutes, perpetrated by a serial killer soon known as the "Eyeball Killer" due to his disturbing method of removing the victims’ eyes. Despite facing challenges as a woman in a male-dominated field and her limited experience, Regina bravely investigates the case and uncovers vital evidence overlooked by other detectives, leading her closer to the killer's dark connection to Satanism.
