In a Moroccan desert east of the Atlas Mountains, a relentless drought has devastated the land. Families struggle to find water, traveling long distances to muddy sources. Despite these hardships, children eagerly journey to a "school of hope" constructed from clay, demonstrating remarkable resilience. The film follows students like Mohamed, Miloud, and Fatima, alongside their dedicated young teacher, over three years, revealing the challenges they face, from supporting aging parents to navigating traditional gender roles, all while living in a house lacking basic amenities.
