Set in a small‑town urban hotel, the film follows a lively cast that includes a young lion‑dance troupe, a drunken lady and a bustling party. Vera, a divorced mother in her prime, arrives that evening. A saxophonist from the hotel’s band watches her uneasy attempts to connect with a drummer, steps in to help, and repeatedly plays the classic “Petite Fleur” as their awkward romance unfolds.
