A tranquil day in a national forest turns dangerous once hunting season starts. While most bears retreat to a cave, Humphrey fails to hide and seeks refuge in a cabin. Spotting hunter Donald Duck, he stashes the bearskin rug in a trunk and pretends to be the rug. Donald’s careless habits—cracking nuts, drinking from bottles, and tossing the rug through the washer‑dryer—make Humphrey’s disguise miserable.
