Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Movie

The Sprites of the Northern Lights witness the birth of Rudolph, a baby reindeer with a bright red nose. The North Pole provides the backdrop for his first moments, and his unusual nose immediately sets him apart. This moment foreshadows the journey he will undertake to prove his worth despite ridicule.

Cupid tickles Rudolph, triggering his glowing nose and drawing instant attention. He is mocked by others for this trait, making him an outcast among his peers. Rudolph's uncles Dasher, Comet, and Cupid notice the glow and the attention it brings.

Doggle and Boone cross Stormella's ice bridge delivering Santa's mail and accidentally destroy several ice statues. Stormella discovers the intrusion and demands Santa hand the culprits over. When Santa refuses, she closes the bridge and warns that a Blizzard could stop Christmas.

A year later, Rudolph starts school and is ridiculed for wanting to be among Santa's Flyers. His cousin Arrow and other classmates tease him, while Zoey and Mrs. Prancer offer some support. Despite the teasing, Rudolph clings to his dream.

Rudolph runs away from school; Santa meets him and reassures that his nose is grand. Santa explains that to be a Flyer, a reindeer needs a true heart, a trait Rudolph begins to show. Santa sees the potential in Rudolph.

Years later, Rudolph takes part in the Junior Reindeer Games to become a Flyer. Arrow tries to cause trouble, claiming Zoey pities him and unfavorably influencing Rudolph, which makes Rudolph's nose glow in anger. Rudolph wins the race but is disqualified for blinding Arrow, who wins by default.

An eavesdropping Rudolph misinterprets his father's words as an admission of shame toward him and decides to run away from home. The decision hints at a rift between Rudolph and his family. Zoey learns that Rudolph ran away and begins to search for him.

With help from the Sprites, Rudolph begins a night journey across the North Pole. He befriends an Arctic fox named Slyly and later meets a polar bear named Leonard. The journey marks a turning point as Rudolph discovers his own courage.

Zoey learns Rudolph ran away and crosses Stormella's bridge to find him, only to be captured by Stormella. Santa sends Boone and Doggle to search for Rudolph and Zoey. Rudolph, guided by the Sprites, continues toward Stormella's fortress.

Rudolph and Leonard reach Stormella's castle and are captured; Slyly stays behind due to fear of Stormella's wolves. Stormella unleashes a massive blizzard on the North Pole. The friends are imprisoned until a later rescue.

Slyly sneaks into Stormella's bedroom and retrieves a key that unlocks the prison cells. Stormella wakes and sends her wolves after Rudolph and his friends; they are cornered on a cliff. Rudolph uses his glowing nose to blind Stormella, sending her toppling over the edge, and Rudolph and the others then rescue Stormella.

Stormella grants Rudolph a wish; Rudolph wishes that Stormella would be nice. The wish takes effect, but she cannot stop the snowstorm she created. Boone and Doggle bring the group back to Santa's Village; Santa, unable to fly due to the blizzard, asks Rudolph to lead his team and officially appoints him a true Flyer. Rudolph then guides Santa's sleigh through the storm and returns to a hero's welcome.
