Goat is sent to a reform school in Satcha for 13 months and must fight his way up the hierarchy. His peers drag him to town, where he is tied to a bench and meets Aggie, with whom he falls in love. After a disturbance, director Lehota imposes a militaristic regime that reshapes the institute and town, escalating violence that jeopardizes his career.
