The tension between Devon and Celeste reaches its breaking point during a summer vacation, where Celeste’s jealousy over Devon’s supportive family and newfound confidence turns into outright sabotage. After a failed attempt to humiliate Devon during a karaoke session—where Devon proves to be a surprisingly talented singer—Celeste retaliates by kissing Devon’s love interest, Michael, right in front of her.
