After his family is massacred during an Indian attack on a wagon train, a young boy is taken captive. He tames and befriends a wild colt, forming a deep bond. Years later, after escaping, he is recaptured and forced by the Indians to battle their dreaded devil horse, which unnervingly resembles his own colt.
