Revenge of the Nerds

Best friends Lewis Skolnick and Gilbert Lowe step out of their comfort zone and enroll in the computer science program at Adams College. Their excitement marks the beginning of their journey as enthusiastic scholars ready to embrace college life.

The arrogant Alpha Betas fraternity dominates the freshman dorms, forcefully ejecting Lewis and Gilbert. This act of aggression leaves the duo homeless and searching for a place to belong amidst the chaos.

Dean Ulich intervenes in favor of the stranded freshmen, housing them temporarily in the gymnasium. In this new location, they are allowed to participate in the rush process for nearby fraternities.

Despite their enthusiasm, Lewis, Gilbert, and their fellow nerds receive rejection after rejection from the popular fraternities. Feeling marginalized, they decide to renovate a rundown house on the outskirts of campus.

The Alpha Betas, led by quarterback Stan Gable, become increasingly annoyed by the achievements of the nerds. Stan begins a campaign of vindictive pranks, starting with a stone thrown through their window bearing the message, 'Nerds, get out!'

When the nerds report the pranks to campus authorities, they receive little support from the Greek Council. The Council's lack of action highlights their indifference to the nerds' plight, as they prioritize tradition.

After facing 29 rejection letters, the nerds finally receive an invitation from the Lambda Lambda Lambda fraternity. This turning point comes after Poindexter discovers a clause in the rulebook that allows probationary membership for all applicants.

Lewis and Gilbert host a lively party for their new fraternity brothers and the Omega Mu sorority, including Gilbert's girlfriend, Judy. The fun escalates when Booger introduces a stash of high-quality marijuana, adding chaos to the night.

The Alpha Betas and Pi Delta Pis boldly crash the Tri-Lamb's party, causing mayhem by releasing pigs into the festivities. The nerds retaliate with clever pranks, leading to an unexpected respect from their rivals.

Determined to challenge the status quo, the nerds and Omega Mus unite to compete in the Homecoming Greek Games. Their academic prowess and teamwork give them the edge they need to strive for victory against the Alpha Betas.

During a charity fundraiser, the nerds make a splash by offering pies with risqué images of Pi Delta Pis. This clever tactic distracts from the Alpha Betas’ own efforts and boosts the nerds' confidence.

As the festivities unfold, Lewis uses Stan's costume to win over Betty, leading to romantic encounters. Their connection adds a personal layer to the nerds' journey, fostering deeper relationships among the group.

In a showcase marked by a techno-computer-driven musical performance, the Tri-Lambs excel, ultimately winning the overall competition. Their triumph solidifies their status as an equal player in campus life.

Feeling disheartened by their treatment, Gilbert disrupts the Homecoming Pep Rally, voicing the group's frustrations. His bravery, amplified by support from U.N. Jefferson and alumni, draws much-needed attention to their cause.

In a climactic turn, Dean Ulich orders the Tri-Lambs to occupy the Alpha Beta house, effectively reversing the power dynamic. This decision reinforces the triumph of the underdogs over their oppressive rivals.
