Red Water

A small Louisiana river oil rig hits it big. John Sanders, a former oiler who quit after a fatal blowout that killed four men, teams up with his friend Emery. They are hired to transport John’s ex-wife Kelly and her boss to the location.

Nearby, three thugs dive for stolen goods dumped in the river. They comb the riverbed for the loot while tension builds around the rig. Their actions foreshadow the chaos to come around the rig.

A huge bull shark enters the river and begins to terrorize the area. The local tribe interprets the beast as a protective or vengeful spirit tied to the drilling. Its appearance marks a new, deadly threat.
