Raja Rani Raji

Raja drifts through life as a good-for-nothing who repeatedly fails his college exams and spends his days idling with his friend Gobinda, who runs Powerpaglu Saloon. On the day of his final examination for the third time, Raja crosses paths with his classmate Isha and is instantly drawn to her, though his grasp of English is poor—he can’t decode the meaning of the word “pardon” that she often utters after his awkward proposals. The encounter sparks more confusion than romance, and Isha’s patience begins to wear thin as his lines fail to land.

Guided by Gobinda, Raja’s attempts to woo Isha miss their mark and come off more as clumsy misfires, leaving Isha irritated rather than charmed. Her initial interest is tempered by his inconsistency and the nagging sense that he lacks direction.

The studious Isha begins to view him differently when her elder sister marries Raja’s elder brother, who works as an animal-doctor. Raja launches a tuition centre to help students prepare for exams. His initial approach is chaotic—his appointed teachers flee after clashes with unruly Madhyamik students. In a surprising turn, he takes in a blind woman who holds an MA in science, a decision he makes after meeting her while buying a free mobile for Isha. With unusual methods and a growing belief in his own potential, he manages to guide these students toward better results, and the centre begins to gain attention and positive reputation. The transformation is gradual but undeniable, turning a chaotic venture into a functioning educational hub.

The turning point comes when Gobinda insults Isha’s father at a conference for not granting Raja a loan, triggering a reevaluation of alliances and futures. He then pushes for a match with Aditya, the abroad boy, as Isha’s prospective husband. Aditya is in a relationship with another girl at first, and he confesses this to Isha’s father before proposing a different path. He suggests that Isha marry Raja instead, a proposal that aligns with the family’s evolving plans.
