This documentary explores the changing landscape of suburban life, tracing its journey from the hopeful beginnings of the post-war era to present-day feelings of disappointment. Interwoven with this broader examination is the story of the Moss family, who face challenges as they try to find their place within sprawling developments, long commutes, and carefully constructed environments. The film examines the impact of a society prioritizing convenience, revealing the unexpected consequences of isolation and the search for connection.
