Poopdeck Pappy wakes up with a pounding hangover and begs Popeye to keep the world quiet for a while. Popeye struggles against a relentless barrage of sounds: a nearby baby’s wail, a clattering horse‑drawn milk truck, a shrill factory whistle, blaring radio music, a sudden traffic crash, noisy construction work, and even a distant blasting site, each threatening to ruin Pappy’s fragile peace.
