A crime wave in Paris leaves the irascible Sûreté Commissioner so frazzled he must remain on bed rest at home. Inspector Clouseau is ordered to ensure the commissioner isn’t disturbed, but Bastille Day celebrations erupt, and a meddlesome cat repeatedly thwarts Clouseau’s clumsy attempts to quiet it, leaving the commissioner with almost no peace.
