Pokémon 3: The Movie

In the town of Greenfield, Professor Spencer Hale is deeply engrossed in his research on the mysterious Pokémon known as Unown. Alongside his assistant, Skyler, they unearth a site of ancient ruins that offers clues to the Unown's existence.

During their research, Professor Hale is unexpectedly sucked into the dimension of the Unown, leaving behind his young daughter, Molly. This sudden disappearance not only isolates Molly but also leaves her without her mother's presence, as she previously vanished as well.

In the midst of her loneliness, Molly discovers a box of tablets with Unown images and begins to assemble the letters. Unbeknownst to her, this act summons the Unown, who are drawn to her heartfelt desires.

Responding to Molly’s wishes, the Unown use their powers to transform her manor into a magnificent crystal-like palace. This transformation engulfs the entire town and effectively cuts Molly off from the outside world, further isolating her.

As part of their creation, the Unown manifest an illusionary version of Entei, representing Molly’s missing father. This spectral Entei begins to fulfill the role of a parental figure, further deepening Molly's dependency on her fantasies.

While the transformation of the town proceeds, Ash Ketchum and his friends arrive in Greenfield, where they encounter a fellow trainer named Lisa. Together, they witness the ongoing crystallization and decide to investigate further for the sake of their friends.

In a turn of events, Entei kidnaps Ash's mother, Delia, under Molly's direction, hypnotizing her into believing she is Molly's mother. This development prompts Ash and his friends to take urgent action to rescue her from the crystal palace.

Attempting to exploit the situation, Team Rocket investigates the palace but are unceremoniously blasted away by Entei. Their interference only highlights the perilous atmosphere surrounding Molly’s enchanted realm.

While watching Ash and his friends through a television, Molly indulges in a dream where she imagines herself as a talented Pokémon Trainer. Encouraged by her daydream, Molly envisions battling others, albeit in a controlled fantasy.

Eventually, Ash tracks down Molly and Delia, pleading with her to leave her crystalline world behind. However, Molly's fear and attachment to her created reality cause the Unown’s powers to react against Ash, intensifying the imminent danger.

Entei confronts Ash in a fierce battle, showcasing overwhelming strength that nearly puts Ash and Pikachu at risk. In a twist of fate, Charizard arrives just in time from Charicific Valley to rescue them from the brink of defeat.

Witnessing the chaos her wishes have caused, Molly begins to understand the ramifications of her unchecked desires. She courageously urges Entei to cease fighting, leading her to a pivotal choice to leave the illusory world behind.

With Molly’s support, the group battles against the waning control of the Unown, who start to erode the fabric of their reality. In a desperate move, they combine their strengths, aided by Entei, to dismantle the barrier protecting the Unown.

As the climax unfolds, Entei bravely sacrifices itself to ensure the escape of Molly and her friends. After this noble act, the Unown return to their original dimension, restoring peace and reversing the chaos they had unleashed.

The town emerges from the aftermath of the Unown’s influence, and Molly finally reunites with her biological father. In a poignant moment, she is also reunited with her long-lost mother, marking a heartfelt conclusion to her emotional journey.
