Wit and Dang arrive at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport around 5 a.m. and head to a hotel to rest after the long journey. The death in the family forces them to return to Thailand for the first time in years, stirring anxiety and unsettled emotions. Dang, exhausted by jet lag, hopes for sleep while Wit remains restless.

In the hotel bar, Wit meets Ploy, a young woman waiting for her mother to arrive from Stockholm. They bond over coffee and cigarettes, and Wit invites Ploy to come up to the hotel room so she can rest while she waits. The encounter introduces a potential romantic temptation that runs alongside the main marital tension.

Up in the room, Dang opens the door to find Ploy there. To Ploy, the meeting is friendly; to Dang, it sparks jealousy and fear of infidelity. The moment underscores the fragility of Wit and Dang's seven-year marriage.

Dang's distrust grows, and she experiences episodes of suspicion followed by nightmares and potential hallucinations. The couple tosses in bed, hashing over why love has dulled and whether they can rekindle it.

Meanwhile, hotel maid Tum steals a guest's suit and takes it to room 609. Nut, the weary bartender, puts on the suit and meets Tum in the shower, where they begin a secret, escalating affair. The subplot introduces a dark parallel to the main couple's tensions.

Dang leaves the room in a fit of disquiet, and Wit wakes to find her gone. He and Ploy sit and smoke, discussing love and the drift of marriage. Ploy reveals that she had a dream about the maid and the bartender, hinting that the earlier events may have been a dream.

Ploy leaves Wit and Dang's room and examines the room she dreamed about, trying to connect the dream world to reality. The sequence reinforces the film's blurred lines between what is real and what is imagined.

Dang finds a cafe where Moo recognizes her from her days as a soap actress and offers to take her home for more drinks. After she accepts, Moo spikes her final drink and assaults her, despite her efforts to resist. The scene escalates into a harrowing confrontation.

In the struggle that follows, the two contend in a dangerous game of hide and seek that ends with one person dead. The film deliberately frames the event as potentially a dream, leaving the boundary between dream and reality unclear for the viewer.
