A Canadian documentary follows two filmmakers at the 1996 Toronto Film Festival as they try to sell their script ‘The Dawn’, about a Mafia don whose hernia operation results in a sex change. They pitch to Roger Ebert, Norman Jewison and Al Pacino with no success, then go to Hollywood where Arthur Hiller advises them and an agent shows interest.
