Derek Jarman filmed a portrait of writer William S. Burroughs during his 1982 visit to England for the Final Academy events at South London’s Ritzy Cinema, curated by Psychic TV. It shows Burroughs signing autographs on Tottenham Court Road and buying alcohol, set to an industrial soundtrack that samples his voice. Unreleased footage was seized by Scotland Yard in 1991. Jarman later collaborated with Psychic TV on music videos.
