A team of cosmonauts surveys the dense asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, suspecting it could be the shattered remnants of an ancient planet. Their investigation echoes the myth of Phaethon, the sun‑god Helios’s son who disastrously rode the celestial chariot, drawing a symbolic parallel between a lost world and the fallen star.
