Meanwhile, Thomas and Bea revisit their collaboration with Nigel Basil-Jones, discovering his outlandish ideas that could jeopardize their plans. Concerned for Peter's safety, they stay vigilant about their friends' wellbeing.

During a chaotic rescue attempt, the rabbits find themselves trapped in a petting zoo. Barnabas's true intentions become evident as Peter realizes he has been used as a pawn in Barnabas's schemes.

Years later, Thomas and Bea welcome a baby girl into their family. Inspired by her father's adventures, she names her debut book 'Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway,' honoring the legacy and spirit of her father.
