After a disastrous convent kitchen mishap kills most of the Little Sisters of Hoboken with botulism, Reverend Mother Superior (Rue McClanahan) spends the money on a camcorder and VCR, leaving none to bury the four surviving sisters, who are temporarily stored in a freezer. To raise the burial funds, the remaining nuns mount a riotous revue packed with comedy, song and dance.
