After being raped twice while on the run, a woman flees to the hills and finds sanctuary in an isolated convent. She takes vows as a postulant (trainee nun) and discovers the sisters habitually engage in lesbian relationships, petty fights over nothing, snake‑throwing at one another, and occasional mild flesh‑eating.
