In the wake of the first film, Hutch Mansell continues taking assignments for The Barber to pay off the debt he owes. His violent lifestyle remains a secretive burden that keeps him emotionally distant from Becca and the kids. The stress of his double life plants the seed for a desperate attempt to reconnect with his family.

Feeling exhausted, Hutch asks The Barber for a break to spend time with his family. The Barber warns that trouble follows him wherever he goes. Hutch proposes a family trip to Plummerville, Wisconsin, promising to leave his Nobody persona behind for the vacation.

Arriving in Plummerville, the family heads to the childhood amusement park Hutch once visited. He insists on a calmer pace and reassures Becca that he’ll stay out of trouble. This plan sets a hopeful but fragile stage for their holiday.

At the arcade, Brady's run-in with a bully escalates when Max destroys a plush intended for Sammy. The family is kicked out of the park after the incident. Tensions rise as the scene foreshadows the broader danger stalking them.

When an employee slaps Sammy’s head, Hutch tries to stay calm but impulsively beats the staff member. Wyatt, Max’s dad, and Abel, the corrupt sheriff, turn their ire toward Hutch. The family’s holiday spirals into a confrontation that draws in criminal forces.

Wyatt tells Lendina he wants to quit the bootlegging arrangement after the latest payment, prompting Abel to kidnap Max to force him to stay. Hutch contemplates leaving town with his family to de-escalate, but the kidnapping compels him to act. The threat shifts from coercion to a rescue mission.

On the next day, Hutch is ambushed by Abel’s men aboard a boat and loses part of his pinky. He learns from his brother Harry about Lendina’s bootlegging route and Abel’s ties to it, making the stakes personal. He decides to rescue Max and destroy the criminals’ operations, starting with a warehouse blaze that scars Abel.

Hutch and Max reach an old lodge where Brady and Max make amends with the family. Becca expresses anger that Hutch risked everything but vows to stand by him. Hutch and Wyatt reconcile and begin planning to repair the amusement park as Lendina’s arrival looms, aided by Harry and David.

Abel is executed at Lendina's command simply for being an annoyance, and Hutch and Wyatt kill most of her men. Harry fights off the remaining henchmen at the lodge, Wyatt is shot in the leg, and David is knocked unconscious. The assault tightens as Lendina's forces move toward the park.

Lendina attacks Hutch, but Becca tranquilizes her in the eye, turning the tide of the fight. David recovers just in time to blow up the park, killing Lendina and the remaining men. The family escapes the melee with their future secured and a new found sense of safety.

After the explosive conclusion, Hutch and Becca are interrogated in an anonymous hangar but are freed by orders from an unseen benefactor. The scene hints at hidden protection around the Mansell family. They walk away with a cautious sense of relief and renewed unity.
