After serving time for falsifying a gangster’s books, a newly released man must hide from the mob’s enforcers. He takes refuge in a modest Dublin boarding house run by a solitary woman and her shy daughter. The woman is instantly drawn to both the stranger and his intricate train models, which they cherish as a tender escape from harsh realities.
