Mojtaba, Hamzeh, and Zar are former prisoners in Iran who underwent ideological interrogation. This documentary explores a unique premise: the director invites them to interrogate him, simulating the methods of the Islamic Republic’s agents. His goal is to offer a reflection for those who carry out such interrogations, forcing them to confront their actions. The unsettling experience of adopting the torturer’s perspective challenges the participants and reveals the complexities inherent in the filmmaking project.
