My Best Friend

Sherman 'Tank' Turner works as a help line operator and has built a reputation for helping men win back their ex-girlfriends. His unconventional method involves taking girls on horrendous dates, causing them to realize that their former partners may not have been so bad after all.

Tank shares an apartment with his step cousin Dustin, who has been dating colleague Alexis for five weeks. Despite their time spent together, Dustin confesses his feelings to Alexis but is rebuffed as she insists they remain just friends.

After witnessing Alexis flirt with another coworker, a desperate Dustin asks Tank to take her out for a disastrous date, despite initially refusing Tank’s help. Tank reluctantly accepts and plans to apply his usual scheme to help Dustin win back her affection.

During Alexis’ sister’s wedding, Tank notices that Alexis’s sister is one of the women he has taken on terrible dates in the past. Overwhelmed with guilt, he tries to ruin the day out of remorse but ends up causing significant embarrassment.

Dustin confronts Alexis about Tank's manipulations during the wedding, leading to an explosive revelation. Seeing how both men have treated her poorly, Alexis declares she never wants to see either of them again, leaving Tank heartbroken.

Three months later, in a surprising twist, Alexis publicly humiliates Tank on a date by throwing wine in his face. Their banter leads to a playful exchange, ultimately rekindling their chemistry as they share a kiss, suggesting their relationship is back on track.
