On the day they collect new books, two girls from the same school arrive—Rekha and Anu—and Rekha, who has kept a quiet, long-running romance with Vinoth for three years, winks at him from afar. Vinoth dreams of becoming a music director, and Rekha stands as his unwavering supporter, even gifting him a guitar for his birthday, a gesture that cements their bond in the eyes of their close friends. The year also brings Victoria, known as Vicky, who quickly takes a shine to Vinoth, though he resists the idea that she could be more than a casual admirer.

As the school year unfolds, Rekha and Rekha’s circle watch new entrants—Catherine, Richard, Francis, and others—stoking old tensions and new rivalries.
