Simon, a filmmaker living in India, returns to London to care for his eccentric, retired uncle, David, a bohemian gay actor. David adamantly refuses to enter a care home and insists on living out his days in his dilapidated house, despite his declining health and memory. As David’s condition worsens, his life increasingly mirrors Shakespeare’s "King Lear," especially when he begins lavishing large sums of money on a young caregiver. Simon grapples with the challenges of caring for his aging relative and helping him face his mortality with dignity.
