Monty Python’s Fliegender Zirkus comprises two 45‑minute comedy specials created for West German television by WDR. Both episodes were filmed entirely on location in Bavaria and aired in 1972—one in January, the other in December. The first edition was performed in German, while the second was shot in English and later dubbed into German.
