Monster Island

Josh is stunned to learn he unknowingly won an MTV contest to meet Carmen Electra. The catch is that his sister Jen actually won and invites the whole school to the island party. The revelation turns an ordinary prize into a wild and exclusive field trip that will soon spiral out of control.

The students and guests arrive on a remote island, cut off from the mainland by failing phone service and transport. The grand party atmosphere quickly clashes with an ominous sense of isolation. The island's true danger begins to reveal itself as night falls.

Josh gets backstage access to meet Carmen Electra and is drawn to her presence. He reconnects with friends and his ex-girlfriend Maddy in the spectacle around him. The night hints at romance amid growing unease.

A winged ant appears and grabs Carmen, dragging her away from the crowd. Eightball is knocked aside by the insect as it carries Carmen toward a distant mountain. The party-goers panic, realizing this is no ordinary event.

Cell phones fail and the mainland is unreachable as people scramble to leave by boats. Bob Staton assures a safe departure, but Josh argues for rescue and urges the group to go after Carmen. The decision splits the crowd between escape and pursuit.

Josh's group is joined by Lil Mindi, her cameraman GT, Maddy, and the school president Chase. The extra crew adds tension but also resources for the dangerous journey ahead. They prepare to press into the island interior.

Stack climbs a tree to glimpse the landscape and catches sight of the volcano turned mountain, then falls. Eightball re-joins the search after his fall. Maddy finds a mysterious necklace and wears it, hinting at a larger destiny.

The group encounters a gigantic praying mantis and narrowly survives the assault. They flee to a canoe and navigate across a lake, the threat of larger dangers looming as they push toward the volcano.

Carmen wakes up deep inside the mountain and is held prisoner by the ant queen. The group continues toward the volcano while meeting Dr. Harryhausen, a mysterious man in a white suit who leads them to an abandoned U.S. military base. He explains the island's origins and the mutating monsters.

Harryhausen reveals the monsters are the result of radioactive bombs and toxic waste dumped on the island. He warns that the island will sink unless they act, heightening the stakes for the quest to rescue Carmen. The revelation reframes every obstacle the group has faced.

The group camps at the base and is attacked by a Piranha Man, which kills GT. Harryhausen fights the creature and helps the group survive as they confront the island's deadly secrets. The attack confirms the danger of continuing the trek.

Maddy is revealed as an incarnation of the island goddess and uses the necklace to break the tribe's control over the ants. The displaced tribe and the freed people rise up against the queen and aid the group. Carmen's fate begins to swing toward rescue.

Eightball sacrifices himself by using a bulldozer to knock down a mantis, buying the others time to reach the top. Chase leaves Lil Mindi behind, and she is claimed by a giant spider as the group presses on toward the volcano's summit. The survivors push toward the volcano's summit.

At the summit, the queen ant and her underlings are confronted. Josh defeats a soldier ant while the freed tribe, led by Maddy, helps turn the tide and they locate Carmen. Harryhausen sacrifices himself to blow up the queen and ensure the group's escape.

The survivors evacuate in a helicopter as the island shakes. Josh retrieves the necklace from Maddy, restoring her clarity, and they renew their relationship aboard the flight. Chase remains behind, pursued by the Piranha Man, as the group heads toward safety.
