Monster Island

Josh is a high school senior who starts out annoyed about the party but quickly becomes determined to rescue Carmen. He is skeptical of Jen’s plan yet rises to lead the group through the jungle, the volcano, and the monsters. His bravery and willingness to take risks drive the mission forward and fuel the group’s hope.

Jen is Josh’s sister who engineers the MTV party trip by organizing the contest and arranging the trip. She is bold and resourceful, pushing the group toward the adventure even when risks loom. She remains a central organizer and ally throughout the journey.

Andy is Josh’s loyal friend who provides pragmatic support and helps keep the group together. He adapts to shifting plans, contributing to problem-solving and moral support during the ordeal.

Stack is a supportive, quick-thinking friend who participates in the search and helps the group endure setbacks. He’s brave under pressure and plays a key role in getting the team moving when tensions rise.

Maddy appears as Josh’s ex-girlfriend who, at first, seems to push the mission forward with bold involvement. She becomes an incarnation of the island’s goddess through the mysterious necklace, guiding the group until the spell is broken and she regains her senses. Her relationship with Josh adds a personal dynamic to the perilous journey.

Lil Mindi is a fame-seeking classmate who joins the journey to boost her career on camera. She is warned of danger but persists, and she is ultimately killed or captured by a monstrous spider after Chase abandons her.

G.T. is Maddy’s cameraman, documenting the events for their audience and adding a reporter’s eye to the expedition. He confronts the island’s perils and is killed by the Piranha Man.

Chase is the arrogant class president who prioritizes himself over others. He abandons Lil Mindi during the crisis, escapes with delay, and ends up isolated as the group fights for survival.

Carmen Electra plays herself as a celebrity performer seen during the island’s events. She is captured by a flying winged ant and later becomes part of the rescue effort as the group fights to bring her safely back.

Eightball is Carmen’s bodyguard who joins the group in their escape. He sacrifices himself by using a bulldozer to topple a mantis and shield the others, a moment underscoring loyalty and sacrifice.

Dr. Harryhausen is a mysterious physician who has lived on the island for years. He explains the island’s past, warns about the radioactive pollution, and ultimately sacrifices himself to destroy the queen and help the group escape.

Nick Carter arrives in a helicopter to aid the group’s escape, providing a dramatic rescue as the island’s danger escalates.
