Sibylle, a young Parisian, aims to succeed in her new venture by purchasing a hardware store in the Basque Country, intending to transform it into a supermarket. Believing she’s cleverly outmaneuvered the previous owner, she discovers he’s under curatorship. To recover her investment and finalize the deal, Sibylle must negotiate with Ramon, the owner’s nephew. She faces resistance as the local Basques are unwilling to be taken advantage of, despite her efforts.
